Congratulations to our newest lawyer, Julian Dobre.

On January 3, 2023, Julian Dobre was successfully called to the Alberta Bar. Julian joined our firm as an articling student following his graduation with a JD/MBA from the University of Calgary.

Julian has cross-sector work experience in Alberta. He has previously worked in the energy sector, at a major oil and gas company in Calgary. He has worked at the Alberta Securities Commission, New Economy Division, where he strove to bring new technologies like cryptocurrency and blockchain to Alberta. He has worked at a cryptocurrency start-up in their compliance department, assisting them with navigating securities laws. 

Julian practices Technology & Media Law, with clients in entertainment, social media, manufacturing, human resources, software, education, and gaming.
