Evan Morden obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary where he was actively involved with Student Legal Assistance. Evan joined the firm as the first technology and innovation student in 2020 and returned as an articling student in the Summer of 2021.
Prior to law school he attended Western University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in basic medical sciences and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) with a specialization in Psychology.
Throughout his undergraduate education Evan has worked in many roles giving him a practical perspective to the advice he gives. He has worked in oil, roofing, has been a waiter, dishwasher, and line cook in restaurants, has worked in fast food, property maintenance, automotive assembly and retail.
Outside of the office, Evan enjoys cooking, snowboarding, hiking and most recently has enjoyed his time with his newborn son.

Evan has an expansive interest in litigation. He has experience with serious personal injury and fatality matters, commercial contract disputes, bylaw prosecution, landlord and tenant issues, and employment matters including wrongful dismissal claims and policy implementation. Evan co-hosted a seminar for the Central Alberta chapter of Chartered Professional Accountants in 2021 providing practical advice on navigating covid-19 in the workplace in terms of vaccination and masking requirements.
Evan Morden regularly prosecutes municipal by-law charges in Traffic Court and has appeared in Provincial Court.
