Legal Assistant
Marilyn Mohr completed her Legal Assistant training in 1980 in Edmonton, Alberta. She accepted a legal assistant position with a law office in Edmonton, Alberta and stayed with that firm until her recent move to Sylvan Lake. She has a passion for and is experienced in Estate Planning and Probate Administration as well as Real Estate and Corporate Law.
In 2019 she and her sister moved to Sylvan Lake to be closer to her parents and other siblings. She has taken an active role in her community by serving on different Town Boards and Committees. When she heard that Donna Purcell QC Law was opening an office in Sylvan Lake, she jumped at the chance to be a part of the firm’s provincial expansion.
On her off hours Marilyn enjoys watching true life crime movies/documentaries, reading, spending time with her family and working on various crafting projects. She has a soft heart when it comes to senior cats that need rehoming and has provided forever homes for five different cats over the years.
