Savana J. Luk
Savana graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2024. During her time with the Faculty of Law, she was a member of the Indigenous Law Students’ Association, and she enjoyed volunteering with Student Legal Services.
Savana also holds a legal assistant diploma from Red Deer Polytechnic and brings extensive legal administration skills to her practice. Prior to law school, she worked as a Paralegal in family law and intellectual property practices before joining Alberta Justice and Solicitor General first as a Clerk for the Court of King’s Bench before moving to the Resolution Services Office where she assisted self-represented litigants as an Information Coordinator.
Savana was called to the Bar in September 2025 after Articling with Donna Purcell QC Law and has now joined the firm as an Associate.
Outside of work, Savana enjoys developing her crochet skills, arts and music festivals, dancing, and spending time with her cat, Snoopy, and her partner (in that order). Savana (slowly) ran the Toronto half-marathon on May 4, 2025, dressed as Princess Leia and plans to run the Vancouver marathon in 2026.
